Behind the scene included

The popular actress Eri Fukatsu, who returns to a TBS drama after a long absence, plays the wife. Junichi Okada, voted "most popular younger boyfriend" in a certain magazine poll, plays the younger husband. These newlyweds find themselves caught up in all kinds of family troubles.

The troublemakers are mother-in-law Keiko Kishi and the three sisters-in-law Chikako Kaku, Tomoyo Harada and Koyuki - beautiful yet handfuls. But perhaps there are some who would sympathise with them? We expect this drama to become a must-see.

Storyline
Haruko Takanashi (Eri Fukatsu) is 30. She works at a radio station. She is approaching middle management where good looks alone aren't enough. She isn't very romantic so she devotes herself to work and play and suddenly finds herself alone. Just when she has given up on romance she meets a man. She meets him at a party to which she was taken by a subordinate at work. He is 25-year-old Ichiro Kashiwakura (Junichi Okada) and is nothing out of the ordinary. They start a relationship. One day, out of the blue, Ichiro ardently proposes to Haruko. Realizing that he really loves her, Haruko says yes and they get married. But she still hasn't told him her real age.

Now Haruko has to cope with living with Ichiro's mother, Satoko (Keiko Kishi), eldest sister Setsuko (Chikako Kaku) who has returned home, 2nd daughter Kazuko (Tomoyo Harada) who has just returned from a prestigious overseas posting with her company and the third daughter Sachiko (Koyuki) who seems to have reached a bit of a dead end in her life. Competition for Ichiro's attention is only one of many problems that arise.

1.  A nice, comical family dorama but not too cheesy [Rating: 8/10]
This is a perty funny dorama. I enjoyed it alot. Maybe becuz I personally love Okada Jun who in this dorama plays a character which is like really nonki na yatsu. And the always worrying and panicking Fukatsu Eri was very kawaii too. The three sisters added to the humor alot and so did Sada Masashi loving mother. It was just fun waching them two cuz they made such a cute couple.

Not a bad drama. All of the actors did a great job. Give it a watch.

3.  Yume Dono? [Rating: 9/10]
Really heart-warming and sweet show. Feels like a female version of Muko Dono, :). Everyone is so well casted especially the sisters and the mother. It makes you realize how important the bonds of a family is and, for the first time, I realized from the mother's point of view, how painful it is to see her own children leave the house to pursue their own lives. Very well done! Highly recommend it! Oh, did I mention it is also hilarious, I laughed so hard. Well, I'll conclude this drivel with a Chinese saying: "There is no never-ending party" and I add: "cherish its joy while you can."

4.  great drama [Rating: 10/10]
This was a great family drama. Okada was great and his chemistry with Eri was also very refreshing to watch. They made the show very enjoyable.

5.  Very cute and funny [Rating: 9/10]
I really loved this drama. I still haven't finished seeing, I have about 3 episodes or so left but it was really good from what I have seen. I read the summary and thought it wasn't going to be that great but I was very wrong. it's really cute and funny. SPOILER: Like when Junichi's ex comes back. I got so mad when she slapped Haru-chan o_O END SPOILER I really love and Junichi just adds to it. hehe. If you are a Junichi fan, then you will really love this drama. ^^

6.  i had high hopes... ??????????????????????? [Rating: 2/10]
(forgive the blunt review:) i had high hopes for this drama, the cast is great, the... ummm... the cast is great, and... errr... yeah, the cast is great. Okada Jun'ichi, Fukatsu Eri, Kishi Keiko, and Koyuki i love especially. however, this drama is just poorly conceived, poorly written, and boring. plot progression is so lacking, this is really one i feel i could have watched just the first and last episodes and understood everything. no matter how skilled the cast may be, there's nothing they can do to avoid being boring when given such a boring script to read. the romance between Okada and Fukatsu, although it does become slightly more beleivable at the very last two episodes or so, i still have trouble understanding *why* they like eachother. after watching all 8+ hours of ??????????????????????, i feel i have only really enjoyed the small time given to Koyuki's character (really, the only well written and truly superbly acted role in this series) and her side plot with the ?????? owner, and *some* of Harada Tomoyo's side plot.

7.  nice! [Rating: 9/10]
hee, after watching this, I suddenly feel like I want to be with some one too! Fukutsu Eri and Okada Junichi have such great chemistry together! They did such a great job of potraying the lovely durvey just married couple. I suppose I can understand him being over whelmed by the presence of some many women in the house :P. With sisters like that...
I particularly like Koyuki the best out of the 3 sisters. She managed to protray the gung ho- tough sister very well...(after seeing her act in more feminine roles like in the last samurai) and she's sooooo tall! I never realised that!
The show is really funny, many a time I just burst out laughing especially when Okada's ex showed up! But at the same time, it's a family show. Sisters bicker, but they stand by each other at the end of the day. hee... getting sentimental here, so i guess that i'll end off.....

8.  Not a must-see.. but nice to watch once or twice.. [Rating: 7/10]
I usually really like Fukatsu Eri as an actress because she really is great, hell the whole cast was full of good actors. I guess even with great actors, a soso script isn't going to help. It felt a little like a deja-vu of Mukodono at parts, and at others I really wondered what the chemistry was between the two main characters. Koyuki played her role very well and had the most interesting 'side-story' in the whole series. Well acted.. the drama just lacked ... something.. can't pinpoint it. It really only gets interesting halfway through when the 'ex' resurfaces...

9.  Suekko Chonan Ane Sannin [Rating: 9/10]
The drama was very well casted. The story maybe a little slow-paced but that's understandable since it is a family drama. Eri, Junichi & Koyuki acted really well. Especially Junichi, who looked very much the harried husband and younger brother. But I must say that the person who stole the show was Koyuki. As the tomboyish & out-of-luck sister, but the most spirited, she carried her role very well. I must say that it showed her versatility & diverse talents. Hope she'll casted in more starring roles, as like in Kimi Wa Petto, where her performance was a rock.

10.  Cute [Rating: 8/10]
The series summed up in two words: cute and funny. Though not dramatic in the slightest; best example is when episode 9 leaves with a cliffhanger that you'd think would have large repercussions, but silly music plays in the background during the reveal, and by the beginning of episode 10 you realize it was nothing. The drama also doesn't have much steam left after the ex shows up and leaves, so it relies on the charm of the characters to pull through...which works, despite the strangeness of seeing so many people over thirty behave as if they were twelve. Eri Fukatsu is great, but Koyuki steals the show.
