Can't stop listening to this album...i grabbed it ASAP after it was released in Japan. Ayu never dissapoint her fans...talkin' to myself, fated, glitter, guilty, don't leave me alone, marionette, together when are the 'killer' and 'haunted' songs;)

I LOVE this album! This was my first purchase from CDJapan and Ayu was my first choice :D I am happy I did because Marionette is an amazing track, not to mention the prelude. talkin' 2 myself also shines out as a noteworthy track. Mirror, the opening, is truly magnificent. I didn't like (don't) Leave me alone so much...its..meh XD All in all, a good Ayu album.

*GUILTY takes on a rock edge 2008/03/07
Reviewer: Jeri (UNITED STATES) 5
I love the more rock side to this album. The lyrics are wonderful, and the songs are all great. I don't think I could say that I hate any of the songs on this album; it's that great.

My favorite songs on the album are:
* Marionette - It has that eerie feel to it, but the lyrics definitely say something.
* (don't) Leave Me Alone - The lyrics are really powerful, and the beats throughout the song make you want to dance.
* untitled ~for her~ - Ayu wrote this song for her deceased friend, and it is a very sad song. Everytime I listen to it, it makes me cry.
* Together When... - It's almost as if it's a message to someone she had loved, even though it was too late.

Overall, this is a fantastic album, and I was really impressed with it!

*Great Album 2008/02/08

This album is great. The title really fits the mood of the album. The tracks (Don't) Leave Me Alone, My All & Untitled ~For Her~ are my favorites & all the single tracks (Talkin' 2 Myself, Decision,Fated, Glitter)are great. With the first press you get a photobook which is sorta similar to the album booklet, but nice nevertheless. Personally, I think it's one of her best albums.

*Great or Decent? 2008/01/19

First few times I listened to this album I could only get into 3 songs, but after that I turned to like the album alot more. Still, I will definitely say that the album has too many of those short instrumental type of tracks. Technically, there's only 10 full ACTUAL songs on it, but theyre still decently good. I have every album of Ayumi's going back to Duty (except for the A BEST 1&2) and I must say this isn't her best album to date, but the photos inside are nice and the album is worth purchasing, just without most of the PVs, which I haven't liked since her My Story era. Still, if you'd like something decent to listen to aside from the better singers you've already ordered I suggest this one.

*Very good comeback for Ayu ! 2008/01/17

''GUILTY'' is without any doubt excellent, I think ''talkin' 2 myself'' is one of her best song ever, ''glitter'' and ''fated'' create a mix of sounds indispensable to cut off the massive content of rock in this album and ''Together When...'' is an excellent ballad. There is more rock in this album but thanks to songs like the title-track, ''My All'' and ''Untitled -for her-'' doesn't risulte monotone. To me Ayu did it again !

*Solid release 2008/01/15

During its first run in my CD player I was kind of disappointed. But I gave it a second chance and since then it has been spinning in my CD player for hours.

The album started out great with an interesting introduction track, Mirror. Then followed up with my personal favorite track on this album, (don't) Leave me alone. This one kind of reminds me of her previous song INSPIRE in a way. After that the album took a more rocking approach and while I liked talkin' 2 myself, decision and fated, in my opinion it was a bit too much rock. And the title track GUILTY, call me stupid but the beginning kind of reminds me of Linkin Park's What I've done. The last 4 tracks (minus the "filler") rounded out the album perfectly. Glitter and MYALL are both solid pop songs and untitled ~for her~, which is a ballad, is another personal favorite of mine.

*Top Notch Album 2008/01/12

So this is my review after I've actually sat down and listened to the album. I was surprised to find that there were three intsrumentals on this album instead of two, so there are actually only 12 songs on Guilty. Although I didn't think Guilty totally lived up to the master piece Secret, it is one of Ayu's better albums so far. Songs like (Don't)Leave Me Alone, Talkin 2 Myself and Decision I can listen to for hours on end. But It's really songs like the introduction Mirror, the classical love ballad Together When...? and the poppsy Marionette and My All that make the album great. It was nice to see Ayu breaking away from some of her older styles and usuing new ones. Ayumi Hamasaki is awesome in everything she does. I'm rarely ever disapointed. Guilty has been a constant companion to my CD Player since it arrived in the mail and the adorable little photo book that came with it was a nice gift too.

This looks like it's going to be another great release from Ayu. I've seen the PVs for songs like Talkin 2 Myself and Decision and so far I like what I see. I'm hoping this album will be better than or at least as good as Secret. I Can't wait until I get this in the mail!
