Now, first off, the cover art is REALLY cool! I love that splitting effect!
I love it when artists allow DJs to remix their songs! It is always interesting an outcome!
I enjoy listening to DJ Teddy's remix of Miyavi's songs! Excellent work!
I look forward to Miyavi's next piece of work and to listening to more of DJ Teddy's remixes!
Thank you very much!

I never believed in remix album and not a fan of disco-techno genre. Miyavi & TeddyLoid mesh is something really different. If you are a hardcore disco-techno fan maybe this is NOT the utmost selection but still the tracks can really fired-up any party you can imagine. However for beginners or rarely fans of this genre, Room No 382 provides a good balance of the genre to slightly pop~ish and funky. A real catchy sounds for all music lovers. For Miyavi fans, these creations are truly refreshing, a must have and a good catch! :-)

*A MUST HAVE for Miyavi fans 2009/01/19

I really love this cd. DJ Teddy is a very talented young guy. I would say my favorite tracks were 'Girls Be Ambitious' and 'Dear my Friend'. Of course I loved them all, but those two were amazing.

*Very different but still amazing 2009/01/11

I am a club kid to an extent and I thoroughly enjoyed this album there was one song in particular I did not like which is senor senora senorita remix. I suppose maybe the song has always bothered me but the remix made it bother me even more, to say the album is a complete waste of effort and money is stooping too low because you are mocking Teddy Loid, It is very dance-able and it does take some getting use to. Now I rock out to it because Iam so use to hear the bands I know sing house, tech, n Electronically. Not Miyavi but it is a nice sound to him, and as far as his voice sounding electronic and dead that is a overstatement it adds to his voice and sort of smooths over the roughness. I loved this album.. People are so skeptical about change..

Sigh

When I found out that he was releasing a remix album I was a little unsure about it, especially seeing Ippiko Ookami Ran, which I have heard the original many times and still do not like. When I heard the remix of it I loved it! The rest of the songs on there are amazing as well. Kimi ni Negai wo was a good song the first time he released it and everytime he messes with it, it keeps getting better! To me, Miyavi and Teddy Loid did one hell of a job on this one!

*Awesome!!!!!!! 2009/01/08

Ok I have to admit I didn't really like this remix album, I was disappointed in it but after awhile I played it over again and Man it rocked my socks, I still think he could have used a kids voice like he did in his live performance for Senor Senor Senorita, I like the way TeddyLoid made it sound.

but Still I love Miyavi and will support no matter what he throws at us.

I but I must say I love this remix album now

*Like Techno? I Hope You Do! =D 2009/01/06

A lot of people who seem to feel disappointed by this Miyavi remix album, but I personally think it's pretty good... is there something wrong with me? lol.

I mean, I can tell you right away these remixes aren't for EVERYONE- but some definitely are. The Kimi Ni Negai Wo and Ashita, Tenki Ni Naare remixes stand out very well. There are a couple more univerally-good ones too =] hehe.

Anyway, here's the issue: don't get this album if you don't like remixes/techno/electronic stuff. Just don't do it. I know there are people out there who buy everything Meeves comes out with, and I do it too. But in this case, please check your musical tastes before you buy, or you will probably be disappointed, and that's that.

On the other hand, if you're not sure whether you'll like this or not, I would suggest looking up the songs on Youtube first to see if you like Teddy Loid's stuff. ^^

... personally I love techno and the Kimi Ni Negai Wo remix makes me feel happy! lol. I like it that I can listen to songs I know and love but have them sound totally new to me at the same time. Also, some songs- like 2 Be Wiz U- actually sound much better to me in this techo-fied sound.

So take a chance, or don't take one. It's not up to me, it's of course the consumer's decision. But I love this album! <3

*Half and Half 2009/01/05
Reviewer: Rachael (UNITED STATES) 4
For someone who's a big fan of techno, dance, etc, about half of the tracks are done really well, and the others were a big disappointment (initially).

I never really thought of Miyavi as the techno type, and I'm not sure how much of a hand he had in this, but he ok'd it for release, so...

The half that are good are definitely worth a listen. If a strong beat and a song that'll really get you 'into the zone' are what you're after, then this is a perfect choice.

For the songs that didn't really take off with me at first, I'm hoping maybe they'll grow on me. That happens sometimes with songs. Just like wine gets better with age, right? And as I'm listening to it now, and I'm liking a few of the tracks more and more. It's definitely a new sound and I don't regret giving it a try. There's some real artistry in the vocals (and I'm not talking about what's been done electronically), and the remixing. If you know anything about the technique that's involved, you'll recognize it when you listen.

I still recommend giving it a try. Never be afraid to try something new, you know? Maybe it'll grow on you too, like a fuzzy little fungus! Seriously. Take a leap of faith.

And of course I'll still be waiting anxiously for the next release! Good luck myv and hang in there. Fans, send him the encouragment he needs. It's all about constructive criticism!
