Prior to the screening, this film had attracted attention because it features as its main character Han Seokgyu. Han had gotten the spotlight after starring in "Swiri" (1999) but has lately appeared disappointingly in films like, "Double Agent" (2003). Gihun (played by Han Seokgyu), a prospective detective in charge of crimes of violence, has two women: obedient cellist wife Suhyeon (played by Eom Jiwon) and mistress and "femme fatale" Gahui (Lee Eunju) having the opposite image (of something like jazz) of his wife. Then a murder is committed: a man is found dead with his skull broken. Gihun meets Gyeonghui (Seong Hyeona), the cat-eyed wife of the assassinated man. Having found some mysteries in Gyeonghui's behavior, Gihun asks her a series of questions: "Do you have a lover?," "Do you love him," and many others. The murder case is further shrouded in mystery. If there is a conclusion, it is that in order to love someone we need to pay the price. As the film is closing to an end, the shocking secrets of the three women are revealed one by one accompanied by an unexpected twist. Gihun is reminiscent of cool and cynical Mersault in Camus "L'Etranger" (The Stranger).
